Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Berkeley Heights, NJ, which is designed to support a wide range of therapeutic interventions. Our clinic is equipped with modern equipment and technology that enhances treatment outcomes. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying specific goals and requirements to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies to deliver rehabilitation services in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Implement personalized exercise programs that focus on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination according to each patient's unique needs.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their therapy sessions, encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize patient progress and maintain clear communication with patients and families.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with all relevant regulations and standard practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily treats a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. As a physical therapist, you will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and goals. Your role will be integral in empowering patients to regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life through targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability in designing personalized exercise programs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility focused on orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated success in leading fitness and wellness initiatives for patient rehabilitation.
• Ability to utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and tools commonly used in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
