Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic services to our youth population. Your daily tasks will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, fostering rapport and developing positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to ethical professional standards.

• Conducting regular client review sessions to assess progress, stability, and necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.

• Drafting, implementing, and monitoring custom treatment plans that prioritize the needs and preferences of each client.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including treatment notes and progress reports for every client session.

• Performing initial intake assessments to gather essential background information and evaluate the needs of new clients.

• Conducting individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, using evidence-based practices to guide treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with youth facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A minimum of one year of experience dealing with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations is essential.
