In your capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be part of a collaborative, dynamic remote working environment. Key Responsibilities\n

As a vital member of our team, your daily activities will include:

• Consulting with prenatal care team members—including medical providers, midwives, and lactation consultants—to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for clients.

• Co-facilitating childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside seasoned birth workers, thus promoting community building among participants.
\n
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives that focus on holistic wellness, increasing awareness regarding available mental health resources for birthing individuals, and fostering a supportive environment.

• Actively collaborating in clinical consultations and multi-disciplinary learning spaces, enabling continuous professional development.
\n
• Ensuring timely completion of clinical documentation and adherence to relevant standards, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the organization.

• Providing direct behavioral health services through assessments, counseling, and case management targeted specifically at Black birthing families, ensuring that their unique needs are met.

• Performing any other related duties as required, demonstrating adaptability and readiness to address various organizational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on delivering compassionate care to Black birthing families, who often face systemic challenges and cultural barriers in accessing mental health services. This targeted approach is key to improving health outcomes within this community, allowing you to apply your expertise to support their unique journeys and challenges during pregnancy and postpartum.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will hold one or more of the following licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Additionally, you will possess:

• A master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution, providing you with a strong foundational knowledge.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele and collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds.

• The ability to work independently and efficiently, while also knowing when to seek assistance when necessary, showcasing both confidence and humility.

Preferred Experience\n

While the essential qualifications are imperative, the following experiences would be advantageous:

Compensation and Benefits\n
