Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will encompass a range of activities:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify a client's history and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and cohesive care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and support.

• Offer ongoing education to patients and their families about coping mechanisms and available resources for trauma recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a commitment to applying trauma-informed care approaches.

• A strong capacity to remain composed in high-stress situations, facilitating effective interventions.

Preferred Experience\n
