Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining structured support through regular team meetings and collaboration with fellow professionals. You will be a part of a vibrant outpatient office that emphasizes a client-centered approach and values the emotional and psychological well-being of both our patients and staff. The role’s standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility is expected to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment plans, using a comprehensive biopsychosocial approach.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, integrating patient feedback to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach that holistically addresses the needs of our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary discussions aimed at improving our trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with diverse populations, including adults and adolescents, providing tailored support that respects their unique experiences and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with technological tools that enhance treatment delivery.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, and a commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practices.

• A collaborative spirit, willing to engage with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Hands-on experience delivering trauma-focused therapies that promote healing and resilience.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
