Our innovative telehealth setting allows for flexible and accessible delivery of services, connecting therapists with clients in the comfort of their own homes. The role entails a structured work schedule, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories and to design effective treatment strategies.

• Establishing and implementing personalized treatment plans that aim for trauma recovery and the development of resilience.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, where patients can openly process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention and critical support during trauma-related emergencies or acute stress reactions.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources to reinforce a supportive home environment.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings, contributing expertise to foster improvement in trauma-informed care practices.

• Keeping abreast of the latest research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of adults and adolescents who are coping with traumatic experiences, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. At Stentorian, our focus is to empower these individuals by equipping them with tools for healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver therapeutic interventions specific to trauma recovery.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, embodying a compassionate, empathetic approach.

• Capability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation.

• A collaborative mindset, working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates possessing advanced knowledge and experience in trauma-informed therapies are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a telehealth context and familiarity with innovative therapeutic techniques relevant to trauma care will be advantageous.
