This role offers the flexibility and efficiency of remote work, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while still connecting with colleagues and clients through digital means. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, with core hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while having some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately understand patients' trauma history and inform treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating patient strengths and focusing on resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other trauma-informed approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and embark on their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services promptly in response to trauma-related emergencies to safeguard patient wellbeing.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance support networks.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to help track patient progress and compliance.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous training that focus on advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will revolve around patients who have encountered significant trauma, including cases of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By utilizing trauma-informed care principles, you will aid patients in understanding their experiences, fostering an atmosphere conducive to healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
