Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Implement individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering a safe space for patients to process their trauma and cultivate coping skills.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and effective decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.

• Engage in educational activities by teaching patients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
