Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to determine individual patients' trauma history and identify their unique treatment needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize recovery and resilience, adapting approaches to each client’s circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapeutic interventions, offering clients effective coping strategies and promoting healing through shared experiences.

• Coordinate and collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and compassionate support.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, empowering them to facilitate their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment efficacy and share best practices related to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population consists of adults struggling with trauma-related disorders. Many patients have complex needs stemming from a history of abuse, neglect, or other adverse experiences. Your role will be pivotal in their recovery, guiding them through the often-challenging emotional landscapes associated with trauma.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your capability in handling trauma-focused therapy.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year.
