Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on improving clients' mental health and emotional well-being.

• Empowering clients to openly discuss their emotions and experiences, fostering self-insight and understanding of their relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, all of whom are carefully screened to ensure they are stable adults with low acuity needs. There are no severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus on providing quality care to clients whose challenges are manageable and therapeutic goals are achievable. Additionally, clients are matched to you based on your specialties and demographic preferences, promoting a more effective therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

To successfully qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current, fully licensed and in-good-standing status issued by the state board to practice independently without supervision as one of the following:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

• Superior interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach to client care.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates who have at least two years of experience in the field of mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices and client engagement.
