Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote and utilizes telehealth technology, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients. You will use advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment progress, ensuring that high standards of care and confidentiality are maintained.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify the most effective treatment pathways.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based methodologies.

• Employ effective therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through trauma processing and the development of coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for each patient.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention when needed, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to foster a supportive environment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education initiatives to refine trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your ability to demonstrate compassion and provide expert care will be paramount in facilitating their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and best practices in resilience-building.

Compensation and Benefits\n
