Harmony Minds Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team in providing quality mental health care remotely. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still fostering collaboration with our multidisciplinary team of professionals. Regular team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions are integral to our approach, ensuring that our staff remains informed and supported in their practice. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and trauma histories.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience and coping strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that assist clients in processing their trauma while fostering a healing environment.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to provide integrated treatment plans and continuity of care for patients.
• Provide support and crisis intervention during acute trauma-related situations, ensuring timely and effective assistance.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development discussions and activities related to trauma-informed practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in the field of trauma therapy to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those living with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, focusing on trauma recovery preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Proficient in clinical assessment techniques and evidence-based interventions related to trauma.
• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Able to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
