Key Responsibilities

• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests such as complete blood counts (CBCs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and radiographic imaging (X-rays) to aid in patient evaluation.
• Analyze patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information, using this data to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Develop tailored treatment plans adhering to established scientific guidelines and standards of care, ensuring optimal health outcomes for all patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute healthcare problems, encompassing a wide range of conditions from infections to injuries.
• Prescribe medications judiciously, considering efficacy, safety, and cost while adhering to legal regulations.
• Provide lifestyle counseling and recommend interventions aimed at modifying behaviors linked to health risks, empowering patients to take charge of their health.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a graduate from an NP Certificate Program.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• National certification from recognized bodies such as the AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) or ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center).
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess previous experience in primary care or home healthcare settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, as well as skills in conducting telehealth consultations, will be advantageous in this role.
