Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote working arrangement while providing support within our specialized Hospice Center in Tampa, Florida. Our work environment is centered around collaboration, utilizing virtual tools and communication platforms to facilitate teamwork, assessments, and interventions effectively. This setup allows our social workers to work closely with families and interdisciplinary teams while maintaining a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental status, identifying strengths and areas for growth.

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailoring interventions to meet each child's unique needs.

• Monitor progress and outcomes through regular team meetings and assessments, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal development.

• Establish rapport with children and their families, fostering a supportive and trusting environment conducive to effective intervention.
\n
• Employ evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment principles when designing and executing treatment plans.
\n
• Provide comprehensive support to families, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to enhance their child's developmental journey.

• Utilize coaching methodologies and natural environment teaching to encourage learning in real-life contexts.
\n
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding child welfare and social work practices to ensure compliance and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on infants and toddlers exhibiting disabilities or developmental delays, helping them acquire crucial skills during the important first three years of life. Our LCSWs provide critical early intervention services, enabling children to develop in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains. Through personalized strategies and family involvement, we strive to support every child's journey toward developmental milestones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, with a valid LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license is required to facilitate travel when necessary for home visits.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling effective handling of multiple cases simultaneously.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
