Work Environment

As a member of our orthopedic team, you will work onsite in a welcoming outpatient facility equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technologies. The position requires a flexible schedule, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week, including potential weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with functional limitations to develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Implement, document, and adjust treatment protocols, ensuring that all interventions meet professional standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure continuity of care and effective patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation goals, treatment techniques, and home exercise programs necessary for optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment charges, supporting efficient billing processes.
• Engage in departmental initiatives such as community outreach programs, quality improvement projects, and marketing efforts to increase service accessibility.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy aides and students, enhancing team performance and patient care quality.
• Participate in continuous professional development through attending training sessions, staff meetings, and relevant continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is centered around providing exceptional therapy for a diverse patient demographic, often including individuals recovering from surgical interventions, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and postural disorders. The therapist will employ evidence-based practice to address varying levels of mobility, ensuring that each patient receives tailored interventions aimed at achieving their unique rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Physical Therapist State License in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
