Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with clients' family members to monitor changes in behavior and responses to treatment, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and diversion services as needed, skillfully managing clients' acute situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Deliver both face-to-face and telehealth counseling sessions, adapting to clients' preferences for delivery of care.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA, to protect client confidentiality.

• Participate in regular clinical and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss cases and share insights.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, conferences, and seminars to enhance counseling skills and therapeutic knowledge.

• Maintain licensure in good standing throughout employment, with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
\n
• Complete all mandated annual training as outlined by Life Care and DBH standards.
\n
• Support the development of junior therapists and interns through supervision and mentoring, contributing to their professional development.

• Assist clients with case management and advocacy, linking them to vital resources and support systems beyond mental health services.
\n
• Exhibit cultural competence by working effectively with clients from diverse socioeconomic, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

• Participate in on-call services after hours and on weekends to ensure continuity of care for clients.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including Crisis Planning and Clinical Summaries, to inform treatment planning.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, APRNs, and SUD specialists for referrals when further assessment or treatment is necessary.

• Document all therapeutic and client interactions accurately, utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for efficiency and accuracy.
