Work Environment

You'll be working onsite at our facility in Poughkeepsie, NY, allowing for consistent interaction with patients and their families. The work schedule is designed to foster accessibility, usually between 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with some flexibility for occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. Additionally, your involvement in weekend community outreach events could contribute to local health fairs and educational initiatives. This full-time commitment averages around 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct full health assessments—including physical examinations, health histories, and risk evaluations—tailored to individuals and families in the community.
• Diagnose a range of acute and chronic medical conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans, focusing on preventive care and health promotion.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with local organizations to create and implement impactful health education programs aimed at improving public health knowledge.
• Demonstrate cultural competence while providing personalized patient care, advocating for equitable access to healthcare services for all patients.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to ensure seamless continuity of care, facilitating communication between specialists and primary care providers.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices to support quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
