Work Environment

Situated in Pahrump, Nevada, this position offers the advantage of working onsite in a supportive and well-equipped outpatient office. Here, you will enjoy a regular Monday-through-Friday work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations, allowing for the formulation of tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement hands-on therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the application of various modalities to enhance recovery and functional mobility.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment strategies, and at-home exercise regimens to promote self-management and facilitate recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and enhance the overall quality of care provided to our patients.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education and clinical training opportunities, ensuring adherence to best practices and innovations in physical therapy.
• Assist in mentoring and training new staff and students, imparting knowledge and skills to the next generation of physical therapists.
• Engage with community outreach programs, promoting the services of our center and fostering relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A degree in Physical Therapy (Doctor of Physical Therapy - DPT or Master of Physical Therapy - MPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada, or eligibility to obtain one.
• A solid foundation of clinical knowledge in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, and general rehabilitation.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
