Body and Spine PT is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant rehabilitation team in Pahrump, Nevada. This full-time position involves working directly with clients in a dynamic orthopedic outpatient setting, where your skills will directly impact patient recovery and quality of life.

Work Environment

Located in the picturesque town of Pahrump, Nevada, our rehabilitation center provides a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to focus on your patients during peak hours. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical function, strength, and mobility utilizing standardized assessment tools.
• Implement advanced diagnostic techniques to accurately identify treatment goals and interventions suited to each patient.
• Develop personalized therapy plans that incorporate a variety of modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education to restore functionality and alleviate pain.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize treatment results through regular case discussions and updates on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and provide detailed home exercise programs to enhance recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records ensuring all documentation reflects the clinical decision-making process and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including internal training sessions and external workshops, to refine skills and expand therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will encompass assessments and treatments tailored to various demographics, ensuring each patient receives care that meets their unique needs. By fostering a trusting relationship with your patients, you will play a crucial role in their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in orthopedic and sports medicine settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar physical therapy role.
• Strong background in pain management and rehabilitation strategies.

• Experience teaching or mentoring students in physical therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
