Position Overview

Expanding Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team full-time at our orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Pahrump, Nevada. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about improving patient mobility and quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and comes with a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical evaluations to assess patient mobility, strength, and physical function, using standardized tests and observation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as therapeutic exercises, therapeutic modalities, and manual therapy to promote recovery and improve physical function.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment progress in the Raintree electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on home care regimes, safety practices, and injury prevention strategies to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain, sports-related injuries, and post-traumatic rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
