Blue Sphere Behavioral Health Services is actively searching for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This full-time role will primarily focus on providing specialized therapeutic support to patients dealing with mood disorders. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely while maintaining a presence in our outpatient office, dedicated to enhancing mental wellness through comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work setting, enabling counselors to provide care from the comfort of their home while also being part of a vibrant outpatient office. While the primary hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening or weekend hours required on a rotating basis to ensure we meet the needs of all clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including stressors and their impact on daily functioning, thereby determining the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborating closely with each client to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to their personal goals, needs, and preferences.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), effectively addressing mood disorders like depression and anxiety.

• Offering education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, providing essential information regarding treatment modalities and self-care strategies.

• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to their plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

• Engaging in regular communication with psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, fostering comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities, including case consultations and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in treating mood disorders.

The individuals you will work with at Blue Sphere typically struggle with various mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder, alongside anxiety-related issues. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.

• Strong foundational knowledge and skills related to mood disorders and their treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
