Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and challenges, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each student’s unique situation.

• Provide individual therapy tailored to students, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes within the school context, promoting mental health awareness and fostering peer support among students.

• Develop detailed treatment plans that outline clear goals and interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including school counselors, psychologists, and special education staff to coordinate care.

• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment to students in immediate need, creating safety plans and connecting them with appropriate resources.

• Document all therapeutic encounters and treatment progress promptly and accurately, adhering to the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous communication with teachers and parents to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practice.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Colorado, meeting all regulatory requirements.
