Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, treatment needs, and formulate effective therapeutic strategies.

• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and enhancing personal resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating specialized modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and experience holistic healing.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to offer cohesive care tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide crisis intervention services and 24/7 on-call support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, ensuring comprehensive understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance patient care and organizational effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse group of individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We are particularly focused on creating success stories for those who may have felt marginalized or unheard in traditional healthcare settings. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Georgia.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and methodologies.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and perform effectively under high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in EHR and related technologies to ensure efficient record-keeping and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with a proven track record in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be prioritized. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT, along with previous experience in a community health setting, will be of significant benefit.

Compensation and Benefits\n
