This position offers a unique blend of telehealth and in-person services, allowing you flexibility while maintaining close connections with patients in a supportive environment. Though primarily remote, therapists may occasionally engage in in-person sessions to foster relationships with patients and provide necessary face-to-face support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the history and experiences of patients, allowing for personalized treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the development of coping strategies, leveraging both evidence-based modalities and historical trauma contexts.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, effectively using techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide patients in processing their trauma.

• Engage in collaborative care by coordinating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment and ensure integrated support for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a composed and effective approach to support patients in distress.

• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families, informing them about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia is required.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment approaches is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n
