Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote setting, leveraging technology to engage with clients effectively. As a licensed therapist, you will enjoy a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexibility may be needed to accommodate the needs of your patients, ensuring they receive the essential support and guidance they require in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed culturally sensitive mental health assessments, identifying the unique experiences and needs of each patient to formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities tailored to the cultural, emotional, and psychological backgrounds of individuals and groups.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing mental health issues while promoting resilience, coping strategies, and overall mental well-being.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and support.

• Provide critical crisis intervention during emergencies, utilizing your expertise to stabilize situations and connect patients with further resources as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

• Actively engage in case conferences and team meetings, bringing forward insights from your interactions with patients to shape care approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, coupled with a commitment to culturally competent practices.

• Experience delivering therapy to both individuals and groups, with a focus on employing inclusive and culturally responsive methods.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, able to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, enabling you to build rapport with a wide array of individuals.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant software applications that support mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
