Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to identify individual patient histories and formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that resonate with patients' experiences of trauma and foster their recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions focused on processing trauma, building coping skills, and enhancing resilience among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during urgent situations related to trauma, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them throughout their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to continually enhance the quality of care provided, sharing knowledge in trauma-informed approaches.

• Stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy to integrate new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily include individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, such as veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals experiencing mental health challenges stemming from adverse life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly desirable.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to treatment.

• The capacity to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for maintaining clinical documentation is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
