Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated treatment plan for each patient.

• Respond to crisis situations involving trauma-related emergencies and provide immediate support as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have encountered various forms of trauma, including those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and other related conditions. As you engage with clients, you will play a vital role in helping them navigate their emotional struggles and foster resilience as they move through their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Possess a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment responses.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications.
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, adapting to dynamic situations as they arise.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally with a focus on trauma therapy.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that facilitate recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
