Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing your expertise to reach those in need regardless of geographical barriers. Working hours will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop coping skills.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and fellow therapists to integrate care plans, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and compassionate engagement.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for further support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices regarding trauma therapy to enhance clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT, or PsyD in Maryland is essential for this role.

• Experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions is strongly preferred, as is a solid understanding of trauma-related disorders.

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually.
