Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to trauma recovery. Our clinic operates under an outpatient model, giving you the flexibility to engage with clients in an online format while remaining connected with your colleagues. Although the role is primarily remote, regular team meetings and case consultations will occur to ensure alignment on treatment approaches and best practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the impact of trauma on clients and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively support clients in their recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to empower clients to process their experiences and cultivate resilience.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide integrated and holistic care tailored to each client’s needs.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your expertise to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand trauma responses and coping strategies available to them.

• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records of client progress.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, keeping abreast of the latest in trauma therapy research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients affected by trauma, which can manifest in various ways, including PTSD and related disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and have experienced significant life challenges. Your role will involve providing them with compassionate care tailored to their unique experiences, helping them navigate their path toward healing and restoration.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of New Jersey as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a clinical environment, preferably with trauma-impacted populations.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-specific treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients and their families.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client information accurately.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
