Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional needs of clients, employing standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interview techniques.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and lifestyle.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy sessions and group therapy as applicable, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness practices.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions as needed, providing immediate support and strategies to clients experiencing acute distress.

• Ensure all client records are kept secure and confidential, in adherence with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health experts to provide holistic care and support for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health treatment through continuing education and engagement in relevant professional forums.

• Contribute to team meetings, share best practices, and participate in supervision sessions to enhance both personal and team clinical competencies.

• Maintain high ethical standards in practice according to guidelines set forth by your licensing board and relevant mental health organizations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Valid and current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Texas (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
