Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries to develop effective treatment plans based on their individual needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, stretching, and manual therapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately and continuously, ensuring that treatment protocols are adjusted and refined as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, including setting realistic therapeutic goals and providing guidance on home exercises and adaptive strategies.
• Recommend and fit patients for assistive devices, ensuring they are equipped to manage self-care and mobility safely.
• Engage with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, contributing your insights to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest physical therapy practices through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).

Compensation and Benefits
