Work Environment

This position is based at our state-of-the-art outpatient facility in beautiful Naples, Florida, renowned for its pleasant climate and lively community. In this onsite work setting, our Orthopedic Physical Therapists benefit from a supportive team environment and advanced resources to provide top-tier care. The standard weekly schedule consists of 40 hours, with some variability for weekend scheduling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess patients' functional limitations and craft individualized treatment plans.
• Implement physical therapy treatments and modalities based on evidence-based practices, adjusting approaches based on patient progress and feedback.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by providing consultations to healthcare providers about patients' care plans and continuum of care.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress, fulfilling all regulatory and professional standards.
• Participate actively in community outreach programs and continue quality improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay abreast of industry advancements, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
• Supervise and mentor support staff to ensure effective patient care and optimal department operations.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and the broader interdisciplinary team during treatment and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Orthopedic Physical Therapists serve a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, such as joint replacements, injuries sustained from sports and accidents, as well as chronic pain management. The clinic focuses on private and insurance-based therapy sessions, ensuring that patients receive tailored evaluation and treatment plans suited to their specific conditions and goals.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt treatments based on individual patient needs and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Experience with leading a therapeutic or rehabilitation team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
