In this full-time remote position, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized mental health care to individuals affected by trauma, enhancing their journey towards recovery and well-being.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring you maintain a strong connection with your clients. Our telehealth platform enables effective and impactful therapy sessions, ensuring that our clients receive the care they need in a safe and comfortable environment. While your work schedule is predominantly Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history, strengths, and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals and resilience-building objectives.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for patients to process experiences and develop coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities, continually enhancing our trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enrich your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who are navigating the complexities of trauma recovery. These clients may be dealing with symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is vital in helping them find their path to healing through personalized therapy and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is essential.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, nurturing a strong foundation in trauma-informed practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
