Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to establish diagnoses and formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain a diverse caseload of 25-30 client visits per week, providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions through in-person or telehealth platforms.
• Document all client interactions accurately in compliance with clinic policy, including ongoing assessments, treatment plan revisions, and case notes.
• Utilize creative therapeutic interventions to empower clients in achieving and surpassing their personal goals.
• Engage in interdisciplinary coordination, collaborating with case managers, medical staff, educational personnel, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Exhibit exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming environment and building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Village Behavioral Health Clinic, you will work with a broad demographic that includes children, adolescents, couples, and families facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Your role will be pivotal in alleviating distress and providing tools for clients to navigate their mental health journeys successfully.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering clear and supportive feedback.
• Proven ability to set and maintain professional boundaries with clients, ensuring a respectful therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

• A foundational knowledge of family therapy services and various community resources is highly desirable.
• Experience in creating and managing treatment plans, including documentation of diagnoses and clinical notes.
• Comfort and familiarity in working with a wide range of clients, particularly children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• Previous experience with fee collection at the time of service and an understanding of insurance processes are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
