Insight Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our committed team of mental health professionals. Work Environment

As a remote position, this role provides flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our supportive work culture encourages professional collaboration and open communication among team members. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mood disorders, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to inform treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients develop skills for managing their mood disorders effectively.
• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy self-care practices.
• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enrich therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in case consultation sessions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, helping to reduce the stigma of mental health issues and ensuring their needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on adult clients experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The therapist will utilize a person-centered approach, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual and their experience. By providing empathetic support and effective treatment, you will help clients navigate their challenges and work towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle administrative tasks and manage a caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

Experience in providing counseling to individuals with mood disorders is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and an understanding of integrated care approaches will be advantageous. A history of community engagement or advocacy work in mental health is also valued.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary between USD 90,000 and 100,000, based on qualifications and experience.
