Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ethical and empathetic mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, establishing a supportive online environment for clients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans to meet clients' unique mental health needs.
• Assist clients in developing effective coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and improved communication abilities, enhancing their overall mental wellness.
• Regularly evaluate client progress to adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring the best path towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with stable, low-acuity adults who seek guidance and support in managing various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and help them navigate life transitions, stress management, and personal growth through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD, allowing for independent practice without supervision.
• Clean disciplinary record without any current or past disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in utilizing technology and digital tools for virtual therapy sessions.
• Stable Wi-Fi connection and a commitment to maintaining an organized and professional remote workspace.

Preferred Experience

While not required, prior experience in a virtual counseling setting, particularly with low-acuity clients, is preferred. Familiarity with using online therapy platforms and telehealth best practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $90,000 – $100,000, competitive within the industry and commensurate with experience.
