Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, with Physical Therapists visiting patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and establish comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that include exercises, stretching techniques, hands-on therapies, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including tracking treatment responses and outcomes, and adjusting therapy plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
• Provide training and education to patients, families, and caregivers, promoting understanding of therapy practices and the use of assistive devices when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy by engaging in professional development opportunities, attending workshops, and participating in relevant societies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse client base, including children, adults, and elderly patients facing a range of conditions. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their recovery processes following surgery, injury, or chronic illnesses, ensuring each individual receives targeted support aimed at achieving their maximum potential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.

• Proficient with technology, including word processing and electronic documentation systems.
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to varying patient needs and home environments.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
