Work Environment\n

This position offers a convenient remote work setting, enhancing flexibility and work-life balance. However, as part of our commitment to effective patient care, therapists may need to adjust their schedules based on the needs of their clients. The operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Team members are encouraged to actively engage in regular consultations and meetings to ensure continuity in patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to ascertain patients' backgrounds and therapeutic needs related to their trauma experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to facilitate their trauma recovery journey.

• Utilize proven methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma and acquire effective coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related episodes.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping techniques, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations and participation in workshops focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Remain informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic specializes in helping individuals impacted by conditions such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a therapist at Hill Crest, you will primarily serve clients who have experienced significant distress from their past traumas, providing them with the tools and support necessary to facilitate meaningful recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Colorado.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, especially in trauma-centered therapeutic practices.
\n
• Expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach in all interactions.

• Capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide calm, effective support to clients.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications necessary for documentation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and participation in continuing education programs in trauma-informed care are highly desirable. A strong understanding of resilience-building strategies will further enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
