Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within a telehealth setting, allowing counselors to provide services from the comfort of their homes while reaching clients throughout Maryland. Our organization values work-life balance and supports clinicians with a structured schedule that accommodates a variety of personal needs. We operate from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, providing ample opportunities for scheduling that aligns with individual lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth LCPC, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and establish appropriate treatment plans.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions that support clients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting holistic healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and integrated patient care, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, responding to patients' needs with urgency and expertise.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and committing to professional development, particularly in areas related to trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interaction.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n
