Work Environment

This position operates in an outpatient office setting that encourages collaboration and growth among our team of licensed therapists. While the role primarily involves direct client interactions in a supportive remote environment, occasional in-office team meetings and training sessions will foster a sense of community and shared learning. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges, ensuring personalized treatment plans are crafted to meet individual needs.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services for individuals, groups, and families, employing various methodologies tailored to the client’s needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including case managers, psychiatrists, and social workers to ensure a well-rounded and coordinated care approach for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support during emergency situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic interventions to provide relief.
• Engage in community outreach and educational programs aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues within diverse populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a therapist, you will be responsible for creating a safe, empathic space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (such as LMFT, LPC, Psychologist, or LCSW) is required.
• A minimum of a master’s degree or doctorate in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical for establishing rapport with clients and building therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, necessary for maintaining accurate and timely client documentation.

Preferred Experience

Two or more years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling within a community mental health setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation protocols will enhance the effectiveness of your role within our team.

• Attractive compensation package with a salary range of USD 70,000 to 80,000 per year, based on experience and credentials.
