Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to provide care to our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Group Therapy: Lead therapeutic group sessions where young adults can safely share experiences, discuss challenges, and support each other in a structured environment.
• Deliver Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling sessions that delve into clients' thoughts and emotions, helping them develop effective coping strategies tailored to their unique situations.
• Create Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and client feedback.
• Monitor Progress: Assess and evaluate clients' progress using various assessment tools and client feedback, adjusting treatment strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborative Care: Work with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with fellow clinicians and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and informed treatment decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. As an LCPC, you will guide these clients through an outpatient treatment program that values evidence-based and holistic approaches, fostering an environment of healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) licensure in Maryland.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working with young adults in mental health treatment settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
