Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' daily lives.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they reflect their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and strategies for managing symptoms and promoting self-care.

• Monitor and document clients' progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on individual responses and feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research in mood disorder treatment, integrating new findings into clinical practice.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all client encounters, complying with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and best practices for mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for client needs and work to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and general anxiety. Our diverse client base requires a culturally sensitive approach to treatment, as clients come from various backgrounds and life experiences. You will engage closely with clients to empower them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
