Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive histories and tailor treatment approaches.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic treatment for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention, ensuring immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to enhance understanding and healing.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on supporting a diverse patient population that has experienced various forms of trauma, including abuse, neglect, and other significant life events. The therapist will play a critical role in helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys, enhancing their mental health through evidence-based practices tailored specifically to their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred to ensure depth of knowledge and practice.

• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress scenarios while ensuring patient safety and care.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Strong capability to function within a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering collaboration and mutual respect.

Compensation and Benefits\n
