Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients. You will engage in a structured work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing an excellent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis assessments and implement effective interventions for clients experiencing emergencies related to their mental health.
• Provide immediate counseling to individuals in acute distress, ensuring they receive the support needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response personnel when necessary, prioritizing client safety.
• Offer continuous care through follow-up sessions and tailored recommendations for further treatment options.
• Employ crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies in high-stress situations to assist clients effectively.
• Engage in learning opportunities to enhance your crisis counseling skill set, aligning with our commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population includes individuals grappling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction. Additionally, specialized training in geriatric mental health is valued, as many clients may be dealing with aging-related challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is essential.
• A minimum of three years of recent experience in mental health support, demonstrating your capability to handle complex clinical situations.
• Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health is preferred, enhancing our service delivery to the elderly population.
