While primarily working outside of a traditional office environment, the therapist will have access to the resources and support of an outpatient office structure, enabling effective collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop and implement tailored treatment plans, and adjust as needed based on client progress and feedback.

• Provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy services to diverse clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups through remote platforms.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, including treatment notes, intake summaries, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with state and NCQA regulations.
\n
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate client care, address challenges, and contribute innovative ideas for treatment planning.
\n
• Work in conjunction with primary care physicians and psychiatrists to assess client needs, monitor responses to psychotropic medications, and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.

• May supervise clinical trainees, including Post Masters Fellows and Associate Licensees, providing guidance and support in their development as mental health professionals.
\n
• Offer educational resources and support to clients' families, enhancing treatment compliance and creating a supportive home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will be working with a broad spectrum of patients, including children and adults experiencing various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our focus is on empowering clients to develop coping strategies and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Must hold active and unrestricted licenses as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with diverse populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Experience providing supervision or mentorship to graduate level trainees is highly desirable.
