Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in stress reduction, relaxation, and improved well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client-specific stressors and goals, customizing mindfulness practices to meet their needs.

• Lead mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques that foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate workshops and classes focusing on mindfulness methods, stress management strategies, and building resilience among groups.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to address distinct mental health concerns of clients.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness into comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring a well-rounded approach to client care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions throughout the therapy process.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Maryland.

• Experience or training in mindfulness methodologies, particularly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
