Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews and clinical evaluation tools.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and client progress using our EHR system.

• Offer referrals to additional services and resources as necessary for clients, including rehabilitation programs or support groups.

• Stay updated on current trends in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, and substance use issues. Your understanding of cultural contexts and individual backgrounds will inform your therapeutic approach, ensuring that you can effectively engage and support each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to deliver culturally competent therapy and understand diverse communities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of building rapport with a variety of clients.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and relevant computer applications to maintain organized patient records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
