Position Overview

Wellpath Behavioral Health & Consulting Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote telehealth setting. In this full-time position, you will play an instrumental role in providing mental health support and therapy to a diverse client base, helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges, improve their quality of life, and achieve positive outcomes.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to provide services via telehealth platforms. You will have access to the latest technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems that facilitate seamless communication with clients and colleagues. Working remotely encourages both autonomy and teamwork, as you will regularly collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to determine clients' mental health status, using structured interviews and validated assessment tools.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Providing both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring culturally responsive and inclusive approaches to therapy.
• Regularly monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Utilizing strong crisis intervention skills to manage emergency situations and provide immediate support to clients in distress.
• Documenting client interactions and treatment plans within our EHR system, adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Coordinating care by providing referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and specialists, as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will encompass a wide range of mental health concerns, including, but not limited to, substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. You will be working with clients from diverse backgrounds, some of whom may be facing significant life challenges. Understanding cultural competence and tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of your clients will be essential in your role.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experience will enhance your application:

• Experience delivering telehealth services and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
• Prior work in multidisciplinary teams and understanding team dynamics in a remote setting.
• Experience in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
