Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, efficiently gathering detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and critically evaluate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, interdisciplinary care approaches, enhancing overall patient outcomes.
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies, judiciously adjusting treatment strategies to optimize patient healing.
• Perform specialized pain management procedures, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, following credentialing guidelines.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, utilizing EMR/EHR systems to maintain accurate and accessible patient records.
• Participate in regular training sessions and seminars to stay updated on the latest best practices and innovations in pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will include individuals suffering from chronic pain due to a variety of conditions, such as arthritis, past injuries, or surgical complications. Your empathetic approach and clinical expertise will be vital in providing comfort and understanding, addressing their concerns both physically and emotionally. You will collaborate closely with patients to empower them in their treatment journey, guiding them toward improved functionality and diminished pain.

Qualifications

• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pain management or a closely related healthcare field.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and utilization of electronic health record systems.
• Strong ability to work autonomously while fostering teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
• A compassionate, patient-centered philosophy toward care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management procedures and therapies applicable to chronic pain conditions.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a robust benefits package including:
