Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, allowing for tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional stability.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, acquire coping mechanisms, and work towards emotional and psychological healing.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care, ensuring that patients receive holistic treatment.

• Respond to trauma-related crises with effective intervention strategies that stabilize patients and ensure their safety.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources that can aid their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals impacted by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires sensitivity and a nuanced understanding of trauma's impact on mental health, enabling you to provide empathetic and effective care tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Competence in handling high-stress situations with poise and professionalism.
\n
• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
\n
• A strong ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, experience in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities, as well as participation in training programs relevant to trauma management and recovery, will be highly regarded as they contribute to the depth of care we provide.

Compensation and Benefits\n
